Brenda McCants

Brenda McCants, MA, BCBA, has been working in the field of ABA since 2011. She
started as a Therapeutic Support Staff while obtaining her Master’s degree in Applied
Behavior Analysis at Penn State Harrisburg. Once the RBT certification was created,
she immediately obtained the credential and continued her direct care work with a vast
array of autistic clients. She became a BCBA in 2018. As she gained more experience
in the field, she explored additional roles within training, onboarding, interviewing,
supervising apprentices, teaching community college courses, and many other areas.
She is very passionate about helping improve the lives of others and contributing to a
positive, inclusive society. She loves finding ABA in everyday situations and tries to
apply the techniques in her own life. In her spare time, she enjoys reading fiction books,
writing stories, listening to music, and spending time with her family.
