Behavior Analyst, Laura Butchelle is certified in both Florida and North Carolina. She
earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from Slippery Rock
University. After moving to Florida, Laura spent 10 years teaching Exceptional Student
Education (ESE). During that time, she discovered her passion for Applied Behavior
Analysis (ABA), which led her to pursue a master’s degree in ESE with a cognate in
ABA from the University of West Florida. She became a Board Certified Behavior
Analyst (BCBA) in 2022. Over the past three years, Laura has served as a district
behavior specialist, bringing her passion for ABA into the schools she supports to best
meet the needs of her students. She is deeply committed to respecting each child and
helping them thrive. In her spare time, Laura loves spending time with her family,
reading and relaxing in the pool with her daughter.
